Double Braid

This is not a two braids into one hair tutorial, well actually it will just look like that. But, it's not hard at all, trust me. During the summertime it's nice to take out your ripped up denim shorts and a cute top with a tomboy denim shirt. And try this cute hairstyle! I've found this tutorial on Sincerely, Kinsey and I'm really starrting to love that blog. This beautiful hair tutorial is quick and it looks great with everything.

Preparation: a small rubber band hair tie, a few bobby pins.

Begin with your hair down. Take a section of yor hair from the thicker side of your hair, and braid all the way down. It will lie flat on your head best if you angle it back as you're braiding it. Next, slightly tug all along the braid, to make it look thicker. One the braid is done, pin it on the back far side of your head underneath the top layers of your hair, covering the bobby pin. After that braid the rest your hair into a side braid. Do the same thing like with the frirst braid, tug it all the way down. If the wind isin't cooperating, take a few spritz of hairspray to keep it in place.

Happy Wednesday friedns!

Little Braided Bun

Yay! Well, everyone here's a brand new hair tutorial made by my dear friend Anastasia from Free & Wild and myself. Yesterday we kicked in and descied to make a very casual n' sweet hairstyle and I think this one really fills up our expectations. Normally, it's very easy, and I hope you'll enjoy it! We are both so excied!

First you'll want to braid a little braid on the side and just keep it there untill you use it. So, divide your hair into two sections. The upper section can be a little smaller than the other one. Now take the upper section and just make a low twist (like you're makeing a little bun) and pin it. Take the low section and braid a regular braid. Make sure that you don't pull it down when braiding, that'll just make a strange bump. Use an elastic to tie it.

After that, take the braid and twist it around the mini bun. As you can see, we didn't find an elastic that matches her hair color, but you can always fix that by covering it with hair. Make sure that everything is solid so it won't fall off. At the end take the little braid and pin it under the bun. That will give you a beautiful, casual look. You won't need any hairspray, we also didn't use any hair products in this tutorial. Ana's hair is naturally thick and curly.

Summer Braided Twist Updo

Remember Sara Lynn Paige? Her Gibson Bun tutorial is amazing! And really easy to make, it'll just look like you put some effort in it. So here's another beautiful & quick braid twist. As you already know, I always tend to post easy hair tutorials, even though it has braids or something like that. To be honest, I'm not that good at braiding them, sometimes I even mess up the regular ones. So don't worry. And for more info, visit Summer Braided Hairstyle l Katniss Reaping Braids.

You'll need to make two braids on each side of your head. Don't worry about a perfect part because you're going to comb over it so it looks like there was no part. Ok, some tips: braid your hair down your side, be careful not to pull it towards the front while braiding or you'lle be left with a strange bump when you pull it back. If you have shoulder length hair, start your braid more towards the back instead of on the side or the front. It might be a little tricky to braid behind your head, but it just takes practice.

One you finished the braiding part, pull back one side and lay it over, pin it, take the ends and tuck it underneath the braid so it won't be seen. Take the other side and pin it over the other. It doesn't really matter which side goes over the other.

Once you're done, you'll want to take a comb and just gently run over your past so it'll look clean.

Voluminous Braided Up-do

How to get volume to your hair? That's something that I always ask myself because my hair is stick straight and pretty heavy, so curls can't last long. To get more volume the hair must be airy and you must start making volume from the moment you finished washing your hair. I have a tutorial for that - Blow Dry Basics. So after you've done that, head back here and start this amazing braid crown updo. I found this tutorial on Keiko Lynn, so for more info on how to make this hairstyle go there.

If your hair needs more texture, you can use a dry shampoo. This will  make the teasing past a lot easier.
Spray at your roots, lifting as you go. Wait a minute or two and comb it through of else you'll be left with a powdery mess. Then divide your hair into two sections, like you're doing a half updo. back comb underneath the top half and smooth over the top.

Pin the newly teased section (make sure the top layer is smooth, to cover the mess) with a couple bobby pins. You can give the bump a little boost if you want.

Divide your hair into two sections and braid them. You can tie them using a elastic, or leave them loose.
Pull each braid to the opposite side of you head and pin them in place. You can tuck the ends underneath each braid. And that's it! Have fun!

Low Side French Braid

Hey guys! I hope you like the new things that I've added to the blog. First the new navigation bar, looks nice right? And then there's an image slideshow. There's a problem with it, so please don't try to click on the pictures. They are not linked, so go and look for the post in the archive, or use Blogger search. Until I fix that, tell me what you think about it?

This hairstyle is so easy to make for those who know how to make a simple french braid. It can also be an low updo. And it's really romantic and casual. The best thing is that you can make it with medium length hair. Thank you Maegan from ...love Maegan. This tutorial is amazing!
Preparation: The most important thing about this hairstyle is texture. After you wash your hair, let it air dry, so it'll be all fluffy. Also curl a little side of your hair, for the effect. Don't forget to follow the video properly.

Style A Messy Braid

Most of you know that I love messy bohemian hairstyles. And as you know from my past posts they are a big hit this upcoming summer. The great this is that, when you learn how it's made, you can also apply it on other hairstyles. Just to style and refresh it! This tutorial is very cute, I just love it! My source is - Beautiful Mess Blog. It's one of my favorite places to go when I feel inspired.

Okay, start by french braiding hair from the back to the side. Then use a hair elastic to tie a side ponytail. Tease the pony by using a comb, as much as possible. After that, braid the teased hair into a regular braid. Pull it so that everything is uneven and loose. Now to make things easier, cut the elastic off ( watch out not to cut any hair ). And that's it! Enjoy your big messy bohemian braid!

How To: Little Maiden Braid/ Hair Curling Tips

I know I've already posted a very very similar post - The Maiden Twists. But, why posting the same hair tutorial again? Well, because the girl who done this tutorial, also mentioned some very useful iron curling tips. I've already posted a quick basic hairstyle tutorial ( it actually shows you how to properly use a hair curling iron ). I must confess that I got pretty obsessed with the beauty of the blog where I found this - Sea Of Shoes. Jane ( the blogger ) is so original and beautiful! Just amazing!

After freshly washed hair, start by reading first the basic hairstyle post, to learn the proper way to use an hair curling iron. If you hair doesn't curl well, then put a palmful of hair mousse in it when it's halfway dry.  Comb out your hair and spray out  CHI Iron Guard Protection Spray  to prepare yourself. Warp your hair on the top of your head and clip it while you are curling the bottom strands first. Jane is using  a Bed Head 1 inch styling iron. When you curl, take 2 sections and alternate the direction in which you curl them. Do one section wrapping it away from the face, and the next one towards the face. Feel free not to use the curling clamp, you should let the hair slide off the iron and cool completely in your hand before you let it fall!

After you're done the bottom section, finish it by misting with Bumble and bumble Spray de Mode  m and comb through the curl with your fingers. Them move to the top section. Curl the hair away from the face to get the flowy look.

Now that you've done running your fingers through your hair, start braiding a little loose braid just below your ear. So it would be easy to warp it around the head. After that just pin it in place. Hopefully you'll find the hair curling tips useful! Bye!

How To: Soft Fishtail Braid

If some one asked me what is my favorite hairstyle that would definitely be the soft fishtail braid. It sometimes can create a rebel look, but manly it has a girly innocent effect. It's a perfect everyday hairstyle, and also perfect school style. You can wear it even for prom, jut add a nice hair accessorize and you will look like a princess. And, don't worry if your braid didn't turn the way that girl made it, cause the moto for these kind of braids is: "The more messy, the better".
